Centrix above Dang Wangi LRT: is the station enough?

Centrix is planned above Dang Wangi LRT, which could be useful if the Kelana Jaya Line is already part of your week. A dual-key plan gives you another question to answer: would you use both sides often enough to want separate entrances?

Two entrances can be useful. Who would use each side?

S15/S15A is an 891 sq ft dual-key example. Each side has separate access, with a bed, bathroom and kitchen area. The original drawing calls one side LIVING AREA and the other WORKING AREA. Follow the entrances on the plan and picture who would sleep, cook, work and spend time in each space.

When both sides would be part of your routine

Separate access and a kitchen area on each side may suit you and a family member. Think through an ordinary day: where would you eat together, and how would you move between the two spaces? Once you have a clearer picture, I can help check the current sales-gallery and show-unit viewing options.

When one side would sit empty

If you usually come to KL alone or spend most of your time in one living area, a simpler Centrix layout may feel more natural. Compare the rooms you would use each day with the extra side you would be paying for.

Would the station help with a trip you already make?

Pick a familiar journey, such as going to work, visiting family or running a regular errand. Follow the whole trip: which direction would you travel, would you change lines, and how far is the walk at the other end? A station nearby helps most when it fits your real route.

If the train fits your weekday

If Dang Wangi serves the route you need, the planned connection could make driving less necessary for that trip. Find out what stage the access is at and how it will open. A planned link does not mean a finished passage is already operating.

If you expect to spend time around the building

Picture where you would work, cook and unwind. Centrix also plans work and leisure spaces, so include them when considering how you would use the building. If you usually drive, the home itself, parking and your road route may matter more.

Could the second entrance work for a tenant?

A second entrance gives you more than one way to use the layout. Before planning a rental, find out what the selected SOHO unit’s building rules and management agreement allow. Separate doors do not establish short-stay permission or sound insulation between the spaces. For a long-term tenant, consider whether the LRT serves their routine and look for current comparable demand before estimating a return.

Before settling on a unit

  • Confirm the planned station route, current access stage and any opening arrangements.
  • Put the dual-key beside a simpler plan, then confirm the selected unit’s current SPA/List price, monthly charges and permitted use.
  • Check current availability and the unit’s agreed specification. An old stock sheet is not a current offer.

Which LRT trip would you make, and what would happen on each side?

Tell me the route you have in mind and how you would use both spaces. I can compare the dual-key plan with a simpler layout, request the selected unit’s current quote and use terms, and explain what still needs confirmation about station access before arranging a visit.
